2018 m. gruodžio 8 d. prie Rokiškio krašto muziejaus žiūrovai išvys unikalų KULTŪROS SOSTINĖS IR KALĖDŲ REZIDENCIJOS ATIDARYMO RENGINĮ.
Režisierius Dalius Abaris su kūrybine grupe pasirinko Liongino Šepkos kūrinius kaip pagrindinį kūrybinį renginio motyvą. Skulptoriaus kūriniai, fotogrametrijos pagalba perkelti į 3D videografinę erdvę, atgys unikaliame projekte ant Rokiškio dvaro fasado, lydimi įstabaus garso takelio, atlikėjų ir, žinoma, Kalėdų Senelio džiuginančio pasirodymo. Juk atidaroma didelio populiarumo šalyje sulaukusi Kalėdų Rezidencija, įžiebiama dailininkų klubo „Roda“ sumanyta eglė-instaliacija. Kasmet miesto dailininkai nustebina lankytojus originalumu. 2016 m. Kalėdų rezidencija išgarsėjo sukūrus eglę iš spalvotų virvių. 2017 metais džiugino eglišakių pynėmis puošta žaliaskarė. Šiais metais, įsiklausius į renginio tematiką, ji statoma iš medienos. Šventės lankytojus pasitiks prakartėlių edukacija ir net dvi mugės, kurių pasiūla palengvins šventinių dovanų paiešką.
Ir svarbiausia naujiena vaikų džiaugsmui! Muziejaus Sargo namelyje bus atidarytas Kalėdų paštas, o Kalėdų Senelis įsikurs savo Rezidencijoje, kur kiekvieną dieną iki pat sausio 6-osios matysis su vaikais.
On the 8th of December, visitors at the Rokiškis Region Museum will see a unique event – the Grand Opening Celebration of ROKIŠKIS AS THE CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND CHRISTMAS RESIDENCE.
The event director, Mr. Dalius Abaris chose works of a famous carver Lionginas Sepka as the main theme of the performance story. The carver’s works have been transferred to 3D video art through photogrammetry and will be projected on the facade of Rokiškis Manor along with amazing soundtrack, followed by live performers and , of course, Santa Claus joyful arrival. It is because, at the same time the Christmas Residence, which has become popular in the country, will be opened. Each year, the local artist’s club „Roda“ members fulfill a difficult task to create unique Christmas tree models. In 2016 it was designed from colourful ropes. In 2017, visitors enjoyed plaits of green branches. This year, another amazing Christmas tree project is being built. According to the theme of the event, it is made of timber.
Before and during the event, visitors can shop for presents in two big fairs and visit cribs exhibition. And the big news for children! The Christmas Post Office opens in the Museum Keeper’s Lodge. Moreover, Santa Claus arrives on the day and stays for the long period till the 6th of January in his official Christmas Residence in Rokiškis.
